SLT Day 4: Vikingsholm

We found out about this castle called, Vikingsholm Castle, which was built on the lakeshore in the early 1900’s. So we decided to go check it out. It’s a easy moderate hike on paved road down to the lake. You can go for a swim by the beach there, just make sure it’s not freezing temperature. Lots’ of people there and you’ll see boats. Kids can play in the sand. There are picnic tables and restrooms.

We made it a point to stop at Alpina Cafe, after our hikes, because t was such a great place to grab coffee and snacks.

For dinner we went to Fire and Ice. The way it works is you get a bowl and fill it up with raw food and they cook it for you. But don’t fill up on first round cause you want to leave room for 2nd and 3rd and maybe even 4th round. Great food and experience. It was $28 per person not including drinks. We ate there and went to the Casinos
